First Reflective Assignment This is my second years in University of Cincinnati. I’m student from Vietnam, I was in here for five years when I came here I have a lot of dream about my future, what should I be when I grow up. I decided to be pharmacist after I took sociology class. In that class I learn a lot of thing I did not thinks before. I remember the topic I was studied in that class was “what will you do when you old, do you want live forever?” When I watched that document I could not control my emotion. I just keep thinking about what should I do, what would I do for help those people because they just don’t have a happy life. They cannot walk; they just stay on bed and wait until the dead coming. It could not forget the face of the woman she was 98 years old, she looked so sad and so bad everyday her body kept hurting. She cannot do anything to change it. In my mind came up with idea, I should become a good researching pharmacist, I can find some different medicine for help those people, help them and bring them back to normal life. They wont hurting like this before they can continue their life with their family, their happiness will make me feel very comfortable. In this major the area make me interesting is Organic Chemistry because I learn a lot from it, I learn a lot about chemical it would help me a lot in research in the future. And beside I need learn more English because when I find some new drugs or something new I need to write a report for it and I have to presentation and explain how it will work for human body and what it can cause and what will help people. I did one example in Organic Chemistry class, we have presentation and report about some chemical we did not know before I did not very good about the report because the way I used English is not very good in the report I think this course will help me a lot in the future when I type or write some paper, report or research papers. When I chose this major I know it is not a easy road...
