Different school lives in China and America

As we know, there are a lot of different between two countries, such as cultures, life styles. As a student, i feel the most differences between my home-country China and America is the different school lives .They are completely different.
First, the different of scholastic year system and admission system. In China, there are six years of elementary school, three years of middle school, and three years of high school. There is an exam at the end of middle school to decide who attends high school. Only 30 percent of middle school students go on to high school. And most schools do not investigate personally traits of the student, the only thing they forced is high score. So the admission test for each student just like the test of their lives. Therefore most Chinese students study by their own, because of the fierce competition between students, they don’t want to share study information with their foes. While America is much different. 7-years elementary school, 3-years middle school and 4-years high school, and the teaching is performed in a light friendly harmonious atmosphere. And teachers promote the group study. And even high school students have SAT test, but it does not kill student like Chinese test. Otherwise, the problem in the test also is much easier than Chinese test.
Second, the different study conditions of these two counties. As most people know, we have different school schedules. In China,school starts in 7:00a.m. And ends at 5:00 p.m., we have morning study hall before the first period everyday. And for high school students, we have study hall in evening, from 6:00p.m. To 10:00p.m. While here, school ends at 2:10p.m.everyday,sometimes we even have early dismission and half-day. And here every student has a personal locker to put their stuffs. In China, there is no locker thing .we need to bring all the book we have to school everyday, even we don’t use them.
