Accounting Enterprise Systems
1 credit hour — One hour weekly; one term.

General Chemistry 2
4 credit hours — Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term.

A study of computerized accounting systems with emphasis on the structures, benefits, and challenges inherent in enterprise-level systems integration. Students will examine systems of increasing complexity; the common principles underlying all accounting systems will be stressed. Concepts are applied using the tools available in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and the financial accounting module of an ERP software package (SAP R/3). Lab fee $15. Prerequisite: BES 144, BPA 144 or CSI 144 and BPA 211. Corequisite: BPA 212. Note: Also offered as BPA 213; credit will not be given for both BES 213 and BPA 213. BES 257

Examines kinetics; gaseous and aqueous equilibria — including acids, bases, solubility and complex ions; thermodynamics; electrochemistry; and nuclear chemistry. The course introduces organic chemistry and considers aspects of environmental chemistry. Laboratory work includes qualitative analysis and quantitative measurements. Lab fee $40. Fundamentals of Organic and Biochemistry

Technology Management

Focuses on theoretical and practical strategies for managing an organization’s technical environment.
