Knowledge is the key to success, and it is the most powerful tool available that provides the opportunity to be successful. It provides success because it brings awareness and understanding. Knowledge has given me the ability to think rationally and has assisted me in making wise decisions. It has brought a positive impact to my career as well as to my personal life. "Knowledge is like fire, the only one of the five elements that cannot be polluted" (Knowledge key to success in career'. 2011, Nov 30). Knowledge is the only thing standing between yourself and success. Through my journey in life I have studied, trained, and have educated myself with enough knowledge to get me to where I am today. I would define academic success as a maximum potential for career success by putting in that effort to want to succeed. You must thrive and set your mind to learn. At times, you may feel you're not ready, or there is just too much on your plate. If you put that initiative to try to succeed then, everything will fall into place. If I fail, I at least know I tried my best and that I did not give up. In my essay, I will explain the importance of career and academic success in where my long and short term goals have a common connection and why it is important to have set goals.
After facing a rough five weeks with a tight schedule I have gradually improved in the writing process and becoming a better writer will increase my chances of becoming an excellent report writer. Although most of my work consist of report writing, I am very pleased that this course improved my writing in such a short time. Gladly to say that I am aware that this can assist with my duties outside of school. My civilian job and military duties require excellent writing and verbal skills.
