Evaluation of Doberman Pinschers
The Doberman Pinscher or Dobes are a unique breed of dog with a very outstanding reputation. They are known for their cropped ears, which they get cut and tapped at twelve weeks of age, and known for their signature short tail. The tail is always docked at three days old because it could grow long and get caught or damage something but it also won’t fit the profile of how they’re meant to look. Dobermans come in all sorts of colors such as: black/ rust, red/ rust, blue/rust and white. These dogs thrive off of the leadership and discipline their owner gives them. Therefore, Doberman Pinschers are the best dogs to own because they’re great family pets, have little grooming, easily trainable, and protective guard dogs.
The Doberman is an excellent choice for a family pet. They are one of the most loyal and affectionate dog breeds. Dobermans are medium or large size dogs that are big hearted and love the companionship between their owner and family. Having children are great environments for this dog because they have a gentle nature and love loving their families. Dobermans do get attached fairly quickly, so be prepared to give them lots of love back as they would do in return. These dogs do live long lives and is great because while children grow up, they experience it with them.
Dobermans are one breed that need little grooming. They have short hair that doesn’t give off a strong dog odor. Dobermans do shed year-round, even though they have short hair and brushing once a week is reasonable to keep the loose hair under control. As a dog, they do need a weekly or daily teeth brushing to keep tart and bad breathe tamed. Dobermans especially need their ears checked contently to make sure there isn’t any wax or built-up occurring. They are also prone to highly allergic reactions. For example, my red/ rust Doberman recently has had a really bad allergic reaction and won’t stop scratching around his ears. It has caused him to...
