Everlost

Everlost

There are many different settings in this book. One if them is on a highway in the very beginning of this book. This is a highway commonly used and always busy with cars. This is where the two main characters, Nick and Allie, die when shooting like a rocket through the windshield of Nick’s father’s Mercedes. Another one of the main settings is the forest next to the highway where Nick and Allie died. The forest is filled with trees that are tall and green and unable to die. Another one of the main settings is the twin towers in New York. The twin towers look like they did before the accident. They were clean and beautiful. One of the last settings in this book is on an old and grimy warship that crosses into Everlost.

There is no one main character, there are two. Their names are Nick and Allie. Nick is an easy going person that everyone loves when they meet him. For example when they go to New York and stop at the twin towers they meet someone named Mary. Mary just loves Nick the second she sees him. She always sticks up for him and stands on his side. Allie is a headstrong stubborn person. For example when Mary tells Allie and Nick that going and learning the art of haunting is a horrible thing to do and Allie convinces Nick to do it anyway. Then Nick gets trapped at the person that teaches hauntings layer and Mary refuses to help Allie to get him back. Another example is when Mary tells Allie that going back home wouldn’t be a safe thing to do. Allie being the girl that she is tries to go anyway but almost sinks to the center of the earth.
