I Want to See More

I want to see more of nature; be in a beautiful, well designed and cared for garden; be amongst trees, grass and bushes after the fall of rain so that I can see the sun shine through the droplets of rain on green leaves, smell the rain water being soaked into the grass and the earth, hear the excitement of crickets and the mating calls of frogs...

I want to see the sun rise and set over a breath-taking horizon thrice in a row and in a week; I want to see evergreen trees flowing along rolling hills; I want to be in the middle of a scenery that captures all the colours of spring and all the shades of gold of autumn so that I can appreciate the unmatched creativity of God...

I want to see a beautiful countryside covered with heavy snow through floor-to-floor glass doors and windows while sitting on a thick rug by a real fire with a cup of hot chocolate in my hands..

I want to go and experience various folk dancing to different rhythms and beats from around the world; discover and taste new flavours and foods I've never had; I want to make friends with people, even children and very old wise folk of different cultures and nationalities, to sit down and compare notes on life's experiences and expectations...

I want to visit South Korea and witness a world drowning in technology, endowed with brilliant creative minds; then visit a village community with no whispers of technology, with only mother nature to make use of - her trees for fire, her rivers for water, the stars and moon for night light...

I want to make use of my gifts and love of the arts; to sing a beautiful song, pouring out my heart and soul to a big unsuspecting crowd; to paint a beautiful painting that'll be bought by an admiring and appreciative stranger; I want to spread joy and love by baking a show-stopping and wonderful tasting cake for strangers on a very, very special occasion...

I want to have my sons tell me that in all...
