Exuma, Bahamas

Have you ever saw something and it just took your breath away? Well for me, it’s every time I go home to the place I grew up - a little island called Exuma, in the Bahamas. The view from the airplane just takes my breath away every time, like it’s the the first time I am seeing it. I would not trade my home island for anything in this world. NASA said that The Bahamas has the most beautiful view from outer space but what i said to myself is, “That person or the individuals who said that probably only saw Exuma. Now who doesn’t love a good cooked meal? Next on my list as to why Exuma is my favorite place - it is the food. I may be small but that’s only the view the people are seeing. I always tell my family members and friends that I know for sure their is a fat kid living inside of me. Bahamian dishes are hands-down the best food ever. The peas ’n’ rice, fry fish (snapper or grouper), baked macaroni, guava duff, conch salad, and potatoe...
