My Favorite Possession.

I love my memory board. When I look at it, I feel a rush of every memory good or bad come back to me. It is my favorite possession.
My memory board keeps me connected to my favorite memories. I am constantly looking at new ways to add more things to the enormous presentation poster in my room. The pink cloth wrapped around the board is now the hardest thing to spot, it’s kind of like looking for Waldo. As the years have moved on the board has become more of a massive bright and colorful memory collage.
All of my beloved memories are at the tips of my fingertips when I look at the memorial. If I am sad or just want to remember something that I really liked I can look at it, and be instantly cheered up or calmed down by the board. With all the pictures and notes on the board small little openings are filled with many things from drawings, buttons, Prom tickets, movie tickets, and amusement parks.
Lastly, the meaning behind this board is the greatest memory I will hold onto. When I was in the 9th grade I had to find a place to put all my keepsakes between my friends and I put them all on the board and from then on the board grows more and more. This way any memory I have of family or friends are never at the risk of fading away into a sea of forgotten memories.
I am glad I was able to make something that would last as long as I want it too. I can’t imagine my life without it. It makes me smile.
