1. Preface

1.1. The Heavy Industry Machinery
In the present day industrial scenario, heavy industrial machinery is an important part of time and cost efficient construction. Industrial and heavy machines such as hydraulic cranes, earthmovers, generators, construction equipment, oilfields pieces, transport and other related accessories are very important in constructing big structures.
Heavy equipment refers to heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed for executing construction tasks, most frequently ones involving earthwork operations. They are also known as, heavy machines, heavy trucks, construction equipment, engineering equipment, heavy vehicles, or heavy hydraulics.
Heavy equipment term refers to heavy-duty vehicles specially designed for executing construction tasks. Different types of heavy equipment are used in different applications from civil engineering or infrastructure to other heavy construction developments.

2.1. Fiat Industrial

Fiat Industrial is a leading group in the global capital goods sector that, through its various businesses, designs, produces and sells trucks, commercial vehicles, buses, special vehicles, tractors, and agricultural and construction equipment, in addition to engines and transmissions for those vehicles and engines for marine and power generation applications.
Fiat Industrial SpA is an Italy-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture of heavy machinery and vehicles equipment. Fiat Industrial began operations on the 1st of January. It divides its activities into three main segments: CNH, Iveco and FPT Industrial.




The CNH segment is involved in the design, production and sale of tractors, agricultural and construction equipment.

The FPT Industrial segment is active in the production and sale of engines and transmissions for agricultural and construction equipment, trucks, commercial vehicles and marine applications.
