The first horror movie I ever watched was The Howling. I was only five at the time, and excitement was my first emotion. My excitement grew as the movie began because I was finally allowed to watch a horror movie. As the intensity of the movie increased, my excitement decreased and turned into terror. I couldn’t believe what was happening with the people in the movie. I could barely keep my eyes open to watch the terror unfold. I had to keep my eyes open. I had to see what was going on.

At first the movie didn’t seem to be scary, but as it got deeper into the movie people were being attacked and turned into werewolves! It scared me because I could not believe that could ever happen. How could people turn into such horrible looking animals? I was so shocked and horrified at the same time that I couldn’t resist looking at the screen. By the time the movie was half way over I had crawled up into my father’s lap scared to even go to the bathroom. I needed my sister to go with me and she made fun of me the whole time. By the time the movie was over I was too scared to sleep.

My father had taken me to my room and laid me in the top bunk were I slept and tried to calm me down. I kept begging him to let me sleep with him but he wouldn’t let me. He kept saying that I was the one that wanted to watch the movie so I was the one that had to deal with it. I was so scared that my sister was going to turn into a werewolf that I kept asking her if she was okay. She finally got so tired of it she went and got my father. He came in and stayed with me till I fell asleep. I had woke up in the middle of the night from a noise and saw something in my room, I started to scream at the top of my lungs because I thought that my sister had turned in to one of these...
