Today was my job interview for the head coaching job at University High School. Unfortunately I was not given the signal that I would be called back. In fact, they told me bluntly that I was not going to be in consideration for the job. While I am greatly disappointed in the fact that I did not even get called back, I know that the future will hold better things. The problem was that I went into the interview very nervous. My palms were sweaty and I had a hard time keeping a focus on the questions as my mind kept automatically drifting to the conclusion of the interview. While I didn’t get this job, I know I can get one in the future. That thought is the only thought that keeps me from going into a sad state of mind. Even though I feel utter disappointment in myself, I know that I must “get back up on the horse” so to say. The future will hold great things and this is the first step towards them. I had to fail in order to make success that much greater. Now the success that I will hopefully achieve at the next interview will be that much greater.
