Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Not Just An Average Burger Chain
It was early on a Saturday evening, when I stepped onto the sidewalk of the long white building that holds different establishments. Looking around, nearly all of the businesses located in that center were closed except one, my destination, Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The bright lights of the restaurant shined through the large, floor to ceiling windows that covered the front and side of the building; illuminating the sidewalk in front of it. At the end of the sidewalk was a red painted metal fence that had chunks of paint were starting to chip away from time and the weather, separating the busy cars passing through the parking lot and the property. I began to trail my hand along the fence but quickly pulled it away when I felt a cool wet sensation against my skin from the cold, damp night air. I walked away from the fence and quickly turned towards the entrance of the building. Not only did the information on the clean windowed door provide my family the restaurant’s hours of operation, but it also housed a sign which states peanuts are used in the food and are provided to eat and asks that patrons don’t take peanuts outside of the premises.
As I stepped inside I was immediately enveloped in the comfortably warm temperature of the restaurant. My nostrils were assaulted with the familiar scents of peanuts and grease. While I walked the short distance to the counter, I pass by a bulletin board which holds 20 pinned 4x6 index cards that have been drawn on with various colored crayons by the patrons, stacked brown cardboard boxes, the top box is open and reveals peanuts, a metal scooper, and little brown trays, paper sacks of potatoes. White and red ceramic tile lined the wall next to the register. A red sign, which states that the potatoes used that day came from CBC Farms in St.Anthony, ID, was posted proudly for all to see.
