1. Main Character (s) and characterization
a. Victor Frankenstein: The creator of the monster. He is from wealth and happy family and having 2 young brothers. When he studied in Ingolstadt, he creates a huge body from scavenged corps parts and bringing life to this monster. But he realize that his monster is the worst thing he has done, because this monster had killed people he love. Finally he decides to spend his life to destroy this monster.
b. Robert Walton: The captain who sails to explore North Pole and Arctic Ocean. He is also rescue Victor Frankenstein from ice flow and nurses him from being dying. Victor tell him about his bad experience which making a giant ugly monster. During this time, he always sent letters about his experience to his sister, Mrs. Margaret Saville in London.
c. The Monster: Created by Victor Frankenstein. He is smart and sensitive, but looking ugly and hideous. Actually he just wants to have life like human being and communicate each other with people. But every people he meet always afraid and avoid him. Because of that, he decides to seek his creator and want to bring misery for creator’s life.
d. Elizabeth Lavenza: Beautiful orphan who is adopted by Victor’s mother, Caroline. She is also responsible with Frankenstein’s family after Caroline died. Finally, she and Victor are married, but the monster killed her in their honeymoon night.
e. Henry Clerval: Victor’s best friend who always there whenever Victor need. He is also romantic and sensitive guy. But he is killed by the monster when he was in Scotland.
