FRANZ KLINE
Franz Kline, is an American painter he was mainly in the section of Abstract Expressionist painters who were located mostly in New York. He was called by other Abstract Expressionists as the “action painter” because of his great spirit in work and his spontaneous intense in style while painting. He mostly painted figures of still life objects, he painted with the actual brush strokes and used the canvas to paint on. Kline would prepare his painting by sketching many draft sketches before he started painting. Kline's best paintings of abstract expressionist were in black and white, after 1955 Kline reused colour in his paintings. The paintings always had a dynamic and dramatic impact on the viewer, Klines style is complicated as he used complex pictures in his work. some paintings include Japanese calligraphy.

Anthony Caro
Sir Anthony Caro is an English abstract sculptor; his work is mainly about assemblies of metal using industrial objects that he found. Caro was educated and earned a degree in engineering from Cambridge. Anthony’s career as a sculptor began after he met Sir David Smith an American sculptor. Caro began constructing sculptures by combining different collections of prefabricated metal, such as I-beams and steal lattes then after he was done he would paint the sculpture with a bold flat colour. Caro's sculptures are self supporting and sit directly on the floor.

Evaluation
During the time I was painting I have faced lots of difficulties and some areas where I found the work easy and straight forward. While painting the background I found that part an easy task and I enjoyed it the most. Trying to mix colours together to reach the tone of the colour you wanted was quite tricky but it was fun to play around with the colours.
