Friar Tucker Implementation Plan
Introduction
Friar Tucker International (FTI) leadership team and project selection committee (PSC) determined risks and strategic alignment to evaluate five projects. Selecting projects for implementation in an organization require review of major factor that influences project selection. Factors such as resource allocation, the extent of individual and organizational politics effect selection. Each project has a risk benefit matrix. FTI has taken the opportunity to implement the Galleria project, which will require a strategic focus for the future as a critical element of organizational success.
One-step in developing an implementation plan for a firm is to look to others for example. In order to obtain the goals and objectives that FTI has outlined, the company will require an examination of the selection and implementation processes of projects from other companies. The following analysis and synopsis outline companies such as General Electric (GE), Coca-Cola, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Cintas, OSI Restaurant Partners LLC, Brinker International INC, Yahoo and Boots Healthcare International with structures and strategies around implementation that have made them successful. Responses reflect research of both favorable and unfavorable trends and or forces as well as strategic adaptability and types of issues and opportunities that face organizations continually.
