During the graduation dinner, everyone is talking and enjoying themselves, at this joyous occasion. Friends, family members, and associates are all proud to see me graduate from college and they congratulate me for my diligent achievements. While everyone is sitting at the tables eating and consuming their beverages, my sister stands up and decides to give a speech about the five most significant strengths that contributed to my successful graduation from college. The strengths she mention are, manage time wisely, academic honesty, positive goal setting, effective writing, and a positive attitude.
Managing time wisely is essential to a successful graduation. Planning ahead on aschedule and taking the time to set a specific time for each activity can save a lot of time that might be wasted from carelessness. For example, if I have two assignments due for the weekend but several weeks earlier I planned a meeting with my boss for that same weekend, these two matters have clashed together and I must find a solution. To avoid missing my assignments, I would plan a time earlier96*-in the week, like a Monday or Tuesday to complete my assignments, so I would receive a fine grade and still be able to attend the meeting with my boss. When I am able to use time wisely, I can get everything I need done without procrastinating, which can lead to success. Managing time wisely is important in college because all assignments have due dates and if people plan ahead and set times of when they are going to complete each one they can research and gather all the information they need for their work to receive a adequate grade. Instructors like to see their students spend extra time on their assignments because it gives them a chance to learn the material and keep it locked in their minds.
