Communication is an important key concept in any business continuity plan, it is very important to keep consist communication through any situation. Communication can be defined as the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing, or behavior. In any emergency situation regardless if you lose one key employee, one strategic system, your whole building, or perhaps your entire network, communications will always be the most critical element to ensure that people can effectively manage and recover from the disruption. Business continuity planning (BCP) is a very important for organizations that hope to remain in operation following a major disaster or business disruption, this is why it is important to train employees on the reasons why communication is essential to the BCP. For example drivers must be trained on how they will communication a situation that may occur on the road during the transport of a truck load.
