Since the very beginning of their tourism business, the Corkery family has undertaken a business marketing strategy with a tremendous enthusiastic attitude, conducting their business in a very professional manner and with true passion. The Corkery family have developed a marketing strategy whereby they aim to gain the customer confidence in the service they provide. A website has been designed that provides the user with a true reflection of what the park has to offer. Gleninchaquin parks website is very informative and consists of a lot of valid imagery and also the possible activities on hand such the use walkways, nature watching and the true beautiful scenery the park has to offer. Also included is a news section which is updated every month. The website clearly projects an image of experience, true quality and would eliminate any customer indecisiveness or scepticism about visiting. The strategy used in penetrating the parks target market is conducted through integrated marketing. Donal Corkery feels strongly about the use of WOM communication and relies heavily on this for business. Other business ventures in the area help promote the business by providing recommendations and references about the park to their own customers. In the early days of business and still to this day, the family provide leaflets and brochures to local tourism offices, hotels, B&B’s advertising the park.
