Journal Entry 23 I discovered that I prefer conversations that allow me to communicate with the person without yelling, and that we’re on the same page. I discovered that I usually feel uncomfortable in conversations when the other person is mad and yelling. When people do the things listed in item 2, I tend to make certain assumptions, such as try to make them think about what they’re talking about, or think things through. As an alternative to making the assumptions listed in item 3, I intend to just listen to what the other person has to say. Journal entry 24 I discovered that the relationship with my “significant” other is very weak. He tends to yell at me when I ask him the same question over again. We have an alright communication, we talk things through sometimes. The thing that bugs me is that he yells a lot, and that gets irritating sometimes. I could ask him for complete communication, and allow strong feelings, because I tend to not show when I care or when I don’t.
