Has Technology Make the World a Better Place to Live.

Man is always trying to make life easier , more comfortable and more wonderful. Each and every invention is a small step in his endavour to achieve his goal towards perfection. Thus, there have been a lot of changes to our life with the advancement of technology. Some people are of the opinion that these changes affects our environmental and social structure adversely. There is some truth in it but technology has made our world a better place to live because of some advantages such as facilitating communication and giving people more leisure time.

Firstly, technological developments have made communication much easier. Thus, there is an enhancement of relationship among people. Telephones and celcular phones help us talk with others no matter where they are. In addition, any message, a photo or data can be transmitted and collected anywhere within seconds by using computers. With the devolopment of technology we can communicate with our relatives or friends without the need of meeting them face-to-face. As a result, technology make communication durable, faster, efficient, reliable and cheaper.

Another reason why technology contibute us to lead a better life is that it saves people’s time. Time-saving electrical appliances and tools enable people to have much more leisure time to spent at our free will. A perfect example of this shown everyday in transportation. In the past, it is difficult to go from one country to another because it takes too much time and fatigue the travellers. On the contrary, nowadays it only takes several hours individuals to go to another countries by jet planes. Briefly, people . . . . . . . . .

It is true that technological developments have also brought some serious problems. One of them is that some technological developments have harm to the environment. For example, too much emission ofwaste gases, mainly carbondioxide, has increased the global temperature significantly. However, people can reduce and finally eliminate...
