1. ABSTRACT
This project titled “Implementing Network Security using Ethical Hacking Techniques” deals with the security issues of the network while accessing it. Network security is an important component of any organization network. There are variety of attacks which are targeted into an organization network. In order to access the network securely, there is a need to identify the possible ways how unauthorized people can access you private data and information. It deals with finding the possible solutions for the same.
Now-a-days more and more communication is taking place via e-mail; mobile workers, telecommuters. Network attacks are presumably more serious when they are dealing with the businesses that store sensitive data, such as personal medical or financial records. Important data can be lost, privacy can be violated, and several hours, or even days, of network downtime can ensue.
The goal of the ethical hacker is to help the organization take preemptive measures against malicious attacks by attacking the system himself; all the while staying within legal limits. In this project, we basically uses the techniques like phishing, sniffing, analyzing local network risks, key scrambling, cracking wifi password etc. All these techniques will be implemented over to the network of HTL Infotech Pvt. Ltd. And then measures will be adopted to make it more secure.

In the field of networking, the specialist area of network security consists of the provisions and polices adopted by the network administrator to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification or denial of computer network and network accessible resources.
