No this story does not begin on a mysteriously dark and stormy day. If anything, it begins on one of the nicest days of the year, and one of the most exciting days for Martin Dale Senior High School. It was the day of the homecoming game pep rally! The whole school was bursting with excitement and school spirit, proudly displaying their school’s colors of red and yellow. Zane was sitting in his first period biology class with his friend Anne, and this is where it all began.
“Class we have a new student here today!” proclaimed Dr. Cordova, “why don’t you go ahead and introduce yourself young lady?” A petite, extremely cute and extremely shy raven-haired girl walks in the class, catching everyone’s eye with her mysterious presence. “Hello, my name is Genesis, and I’m very excited to meet all of you. I have big plans for this school. HUGE plans.” As young Genesis announced this, she took a seat in the group where Zane and Anne offered her a place.
“Hello Genesis, my name is Zane and this is my friend Anne. It’s great to meet you!” he said politely. “Hey Genesis, may I ask what school you’ve transferred from?” asked the ever so pleasant Anne. “I’ve never gone to school before, this is actually my first time!” she replied. Anne and Zane stared at each other in disbelief as Genesis continued to tell them information about her and replying to their questions with mysterious replies. Something was not right about this girl.
Later that day, Anne introduced Genesis to their group of friends. “Hey guys this is Genesis, she’s new to the school! Genesis I’d like you to meet everyone. This is Sergei, Kyle, Karen, Jason, Tyler, Vladimir, Brent, Emma and Maria.” “Yeah yeah yeah, real nice. When is this pep rally everyone’s been talking about?!” she rudely stated. “Well the pep rally should be starting in about an hour…” answered Emma. “Good!
