Grade distribution: Assignments: 20%
Term tests (2): 30% (15% each)
Final exam: 50%


Assignments: There will be 8-9 assignments throughout the semester. They will be generally due one week after assignment and there will be due at the beginning of class. Late assignments will not be accepted.

The lowest-graded assignment will not be factored into the assignment grade.


Midterm exams: There will be two 50-minute midterm exams, each worth 15%. The tentative dates for these exams are Friday, October 9th and Friday, November 13th.
