Assessment Task
In this assignment, you should investigate and discuss an issue affecting the contemporary music and/or music media industries, and present your findings in the form of a fully referenced analytical report. You are encouraged to research an issue that relates directly to unit teaching.

The REPORT format/style will be discussed in unit teaching, and guidance notes will be available on the unit’s myCourse page.

You should discuss your report ideas with your unit tutor to ensure that you receive formative feedback on your research, and guidance on completion of the report.

Assessment criteria
In this assignment, we are looking for evidence of your own research, an insightful debate that demonstrates your understanding of the issue chosen to investigate, and correct usage of both the formal report format and Harvard System citation/ bibliography. Detailed assessment criteria are provided in the grid overleaf.
