Higher Education = Higher Future Earnings, and A Better Quality of Life.
Would you like to have high earnings in the future and a better quality of life? Well I have the key for a successful future. The key to have a prosperous future is to have a high level of education. In other words the key is to go to college. I want all smart Hispanic students, hardworking and dedicated, to go to college, because they are in this country to succeed.
According to the United States Census Bureau 4 million students start college every year. However, less than half of those 4 million students will graduate with a 4 year college degree. The only way you can increase that percentage is by making the choice to go to college. 58.4 percent of the Hispanics living in the United States have a high school diploma. Jorge Ramos, a famous newscaster of Hispanic TV, and one of “the 25 most influential Hispanics in the United States” according to TIME magazine, stated the if the percentage of the Hispanics with a high school diploma increases, it is most likely for the percentage of the Hispanics with a bachelors degree to increase too. I agree with his analogy because it is logical that if the high school graduates increase, more of those graduates will go on to college. Wouldn’t you like to a high income in the future? Just in case you have some doubts, the United States Census Bureau has released data providing the substantial value of college education in the United States. Workers 18 and over with bachelors degrees earns an average of $51,206 a year, while those with a high school diploma earn $27,915. Workers with an advanced degree make an average of $74,602 and those without a high school diploma make an average of $18,734. So you tell me would you like to earn an average of $18,734 or $51,206 and...
