Jesus
* Jesus was born in in a manger within a stable in Bethlehem, by his virgin mother Mary. His father was Joseph. What made this baby in the manger important was that according to belief he was the one and only true son of God. Although Jesus had humble beginnings he would spark many religions and become one of the most popular figures in history.
* Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist when he was a young man. John the Baptist was a prophet before Jesus and as he Baptized Jesus according to belief God came down in the body of a dove and blessed him.
* John the Baptist was later beheaded by the orders of King Her’od.
* After baptism Jesus went to the wilderness and was tempted by the devil. Being a man of no sin Jesus denied the devil and fasted for 40 days.
* After this Jesus began his preaching of God and an eternal kingdom. He eventually rounded up 12 disciples who also spread the word of God. During this time Jesus performed many miracles healing many sick people of illness or disease. Jesus also fed 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread and two fish. By this time Jesus was known as the true son of God. He even walked on water and calmed a storm for fishermen.
* As Jesus’ preaching continued he became a criminal. So much so that his own disciple Judas betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver.
* Jesus had his infamous last supper with his 12 disciples and went to a garden to Pray. It was there that he was arrested and sent to Pontius Pilate to be condemned. Jesus was ordered to be crucified along two other thieves. He suffered for a few hours and died on the cross as the soldiers mocked him. When he died the split and according to belief all dead saints were sent to heaven.
* Jesus was buried in a tomb and for three days he lay dead until the third day he rose again. His mother Mary and Mary Magdalene came to his tomb and an angel greeted them and told them that Jesus was raised. The women told Jesus’ disciples. All disciples...
