I think slavery left a big impact on how both Black and White Americans treat each other today. Slavery influenced the evolution of both Black and White Americans a handed down version of discrimination from generation to generation a permanent divide between both Black and White Americans today; I say this without prejudice. We still face racial adversity amongst Black and White Americans.

During a tragic event that occurred to the World Trade Center in New York, on September 11, 2001. 9-11 (September 11, 2001) marks the devastation that struck this nation; many people watched in horror as lives were destroy and devastation struck this nation. The USA did not see the color of ones skin; it did not matter the color of the persons skin whether White or Black American we faced an enemy as a people. Color is what it is color; 9-11 took our eyes off of color and put our eyes on right and wrong.

It is and always will be hate that has moved men and women to put anyone into slavery. We will find many Black and White Americans that say they have love for their families and the love Black and White Americans have for their families is real. A conditional love without color in mind is not love at all. For love will never be given with color or slavery in mind; this country will not be at its best until there is a change in our thinking, a change in our hearts and a change in what we do everyday in love without color in mind.
