The vertical dimension between the two jaw plates becomes smaller and smaller as goes to the bottom of cavity.
When jaw crusher works, the angle of V-type becomes smaller, and the movable jaw plate strikes the raw material at the force of motor. The material is crushed into pieces at the large strike force. When the tension rod and spring drive movable plate leave the fixed jaw plate, the small piece come out from the bottom of cavity. The large piece is crushed again, until the raw material is small enough to leave the cavity.
