Abstract
This essay discusses the overall issues and changes that social networks have created in the current society. How the society has change because of technology is something that cannot be omitted. The social networks have many benefits that humans need to know how to make the most of them instead of falling in the addictions or many other personal issues that they can also bring. It is necessary to make real socialization the priority once again rather than virtual socialization.
How does Social Networking Affect Your Privacy?
Social networks! Are they affecting privacy? A few years ago few people had not thought how social networks would play a significant role in society as it is doing currently with most persons. It is a fact that social networks are here to stay and there are more unusual networks coming out as daily life goes on. Now most people simply cannot live without them, but not long ago they used to live normal lives without these social networks or even Internet. In the present days, there are many social networks out there: Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Foursquare, YouTube and others. Consumers have become more dependent for personal and business purposes. What impact does this have on the society? In fact, they can affect people´s privacy in different levels. Sometimes it will all depend on how users take advantage of them. Are they making use of them responsibly or recklessly? Social networks are just like personal diaries where many share with the public jeopardizing personal information, relationship with others, and private location.
