How I expect my degree to help me?
It has been very hard going back to college after so many years, but hopeful in August I will receive my degree in Childcare and Family Education. By attaining my degree it will help me to become a better teacher assistance, provide me with more income and my degree will help me to get a promotion.
First of all, I know my college degree will give me the ability to conquer some fears I have on my job. For example, that degree will give me the confident to teach my student without thinking I will make mistakes.
Next, working as a teacher assistant doesn’t pay very much, therefore my degree will help me to earn more money so I will be able to help my family and buy the things I want. I probably will go on a great vacation for a week.
Finally, after I earn my degree I will be next in line for a promotion, I was told there is an open at my job for a Pre-K teacher, or maybe I will open my own Daycare center and be in business for my self.
I know my degree in Child Care and Family education will help me to obtain my goal of being a greater teacher, I will be making more money and most of all, I will be able to sign up for that job opening at my school. I also know my degree will help me to start my own business and make a go of it.
