Ideal job
My ideal job is to be an English teacher. When I sat and thought about the question, why I want to become an English teacher, many different reasons went through my mind. Someone once told me that teaching is the most rewarding experience. I’m interested in English. I have always wanted to work with children. This gives me more drive and determination to become an English teacher. Three main reasons why I have decided my major and stay in that profession are I’m keen on English, want to contribute to my country and have an aunt who is a teacher inspired me.
First of all, I’m very fond of English. I got curious about English when I took my first English class in middle school. Everything was new and attractive. But after a couple of days, a lot of problems in learning English arose. Instead of being discouraged, I turned to my teacher for help. He talked with me personally and told me what to do. What he said really encouraged me. I got the courage to speak up in English class. Having overcome the obstacles in learning English, I found that it was great fun. I like reading English texts a lot and I gathered the benefits of working hard.
The second reason is that I believe I can make a contribution to my native country by teaching English. It’s well known that English is playing a more and more important role in our daily life. It’s especially good for children when they can have the advanced education from a young age. For instance, a school have adequate infrastructure, use computer technology to assist teachers teach and students learn, and good teachers could help students get the most education they can. Because of the lack of quantity and quality of teachers teaching English in my native country, the society needs those people who do well in English improve the education. I have the opportunity to interact and learn with education abroad, and I really want to transfer my knowledge and ideas to children who are interested in learning new things....
