Introduction
Human Resource Management is an organizational function which aims on the management of people who are working for the organization as well as the management of recruitment for the organization. In addition to this, Human Resource Management is also a function in the organization which would deal in the issues and problems with regards to the people who are working in the company. This would include having to manage the employee and staff compensation, hiring as well as the evaluation of their performances via performance management. Also, the Human Resource Management tackles the development and improvement of the organization which includes the matter on its safety, wellness, as well as employee motivation and training (Heathfield, 2015).
Human resource management is an essential element embedded to an organization because it strategically plans for the management of the people in the workplace. This type of management will have the workers to adapt to the environment and culture of the organization. According to Deadrick and Gibson (2009), Human Resource Management has been described to be a valuable asset for an organization to handle their people in an efficient and effective way. Also, the corporate environment is changing the characteristics of the Human Resource Management.
In addition to this, there are two concepts of Human Resource Management which have been developed for its particular reasons. The two are the Strategic Human Resource Management and the other is the International Human resource management.
