In the Untied States alone there are between 12-20 million Illegal immigrants. The number is not exactly known because there isn't any way to keep track of how many illegal aliens cross over the
border. Illegal immigration is one of the most ongoing problem in the United States today, and needs to be dealt with properly. There are many views, and points on this enormous, ongoing controversy. I'm going to just touch on a few of the key points. First, I would like to talk about crimes that illegal aliens commit. Whether it be from the littlest thing like not paying a speeding ticket, all the way up to murder.
I will also explain how illegal aliens are hurting this economy with the massive amounts of money us taxpayers are shelling out. Furthermore, with all these illegal aliens in the United States, it's costing more and more to pay the law enforcement, and facilities.
While most illegal aliens are decent people who work hard and are only trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, it is also a fact that a high percentage of illegal aliens are criminals. All over the united states crimes have been going up in numbers from illegal alien population. For example, the hispanic gangs. The majority of there members are illegal aliens. These gang's (such as the MS-13) criminal activities include drug smuggling, gun running, people smuggling, hits for hire, theft, drug sales, and arson. Also the federal government believes that as much as 2.2 million kilograms of cocaine and 11.6 kilograms of marijuana were brought into the United States through the the Mexican border by illegal aliens in 2009. Gang related or not, these drugs are coming from mostly Illegal immigrants. Illegal aliens are involved with identity theft as well. Once illegals get across the border, many have jobs, as well as counterfeit documents waiting for them.
