Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge


Imagination is more important than knowledge. It is a famous quotation by an all time famous, popular and well known scientist, “Einstein”. To begin with, it will not be a good option to not agree with the topic as the person who said this is often known as the smartest man to have ever walked on the planet. However, even rationally speaking and on the basis of proofs and evidence, it can be proven that the man was indeed right and there is no argument over the fact that imagination is indeed more important than knowledge.
In routine life, knowledge enjoys a lot of importance. Think about the peers around you, what do they tell you all the time? Do they inspire you to start imagining? Or do they stick to the boring, conservational and orthodox opinion asking you to study and gain knowledge? I am sure it’s the latter one. But this does not imply in any way that imagination is not important and knowledge is the only thing which is required to be successful in the world. As a matter of fact, it will be quite safe to say that imagination plays an even vital role than knowledge. There is no doubt that knowledge is important, but its importance comes only after imagination which is the very basis of creation. Putting knowledge before imagination is nothing more than a stereotype.
In everyday life, the importance of imagination is always suppressed by knowledge and it is underrated while in reality, it can be very easily proven with the help of couple of examples and situations that imagination comes before knowledge. Everyone likes creative people, don’t they? Have you ever wondered what is the very basis and power of creativity? Without a doubt its imagination. Whenever a new thing is to be invented, the very first step to be taken is the imagination and then only knowledge is utilized to put the imagination to life, to implement it and fulfill what you dreamt of.
