The Industrial Revolution was a crucial time in Britain’s modern history. Although many problems arose during this time, it gave Britain a global empire throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Industrialization in Britain in general, allowed them to grow and prosper into the nation that they are today.

During this time, there were many problems in Britain going on at a social level, but the most important and prominent issue had to be the living standards in the bigger cities like London. Cities were the only option for poorer people who used to live out on farms. Their land was bought, they were forced off of their land and their only option was to move to the bigger cities. Because of this, the population in the major cities was growing at an unbelievable rate and the people that arrived there with basically nothing had to look for a job, anything, so that they could get some money or a place to stay, just to survive.

The level of general health and living was dropping at an alarming rate. There were no sewerage system, rubbish facilities and barely any health facilities for the poor, who in this time were the majority if populations. Then he said ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
