Race is evil; we all know this. It is a terrible wrong to hate another human because their skin color or culture is different from yours. Racism has many shapes and forms in which it is used against people. It can be directed against any race, color or ethnicity. Racism takes place all around us although we may no notice it sometimes, A lot of the time people don’t realize what they’re saying is a racist comment it is just embedded. Race comes in some forms that are more obvious than others though they are all just as bad. Obvious forms of racism are graffiti, physical and mental intimidation, and racial slurs and jokes.
Some say the word racism not longer have a meaning. Racism is no longer about race, but ideas. Racism is the new word for dissent. It is a card a lot of black Americans pull out and use when they want something or when something is not going their way. There is a lot of work to be done to help people understand that the color of someone’s skin or their origins are trivial. It is the most hatred most shameful word ever heard or has ever been bought to mankind.
Racism prevails in society when an individual believes one race is superior to another by virtue of economic advantages or specific achievements they have made. Racism and prejudice are thought to be most prevalent in societies where physical differences are most pronounced. Racial inequality preserves even when the dominant ideology mutes reference to color, as witnessed in the United States.
Racism breeds hatred. Today the world is a small place; all the cultures are open to one another. That’s why there is no place for racism. Encouraging racism is very wrong. Hating someone simply because they look different is wrong. There is no superior race in the world. The biggest problem for Americans Society is racism. It has had a negative effect in our society. Racism in America is an added source of chronic stress for people of color.
