Introduction
In the field of human services they work with complicated and various amounts of data and systems to keep them connected with other agencies, organizations and their clientele. They rely on these systems and programs to keep their business going and so that they can provide the best to their clients that are in need of their help. Interoperability is the aptitude of a method that executes work in integration with additional systems without the user inputting hard work or effort on their part. In order for the networks and integrations to work interoperability heightens the significance of information technology. When it comes to marketing and product enhancement the term interoperability is what is mostly and widely used. A term that is significant when you define interoperability is compatibility. Within the human services field various providers employ the interoperability in order to communicate with other services and various systems for improved results (Margaret Rouse, 2006).
ACF Interoperability Initiative
ACF (The Administration for Children & Families) is an acknowledged significance of the Department of Health & Human Services America. The Administration for Children & Families offers various state of the art programs that supports the social well-being and economic for individuals, families, children, and communities. The ACF’s services provide a wide-ranging of groups that consist of Native Americans, families and individuals that earn low income, refugees, and various others (ACF, 2013). The ACF organization is struggling to fulfill its mission by providing grants to the non-profit groups, local and state governments, American Indian tribes, Native American communities, and faith and community-based organizations.
