Introduction

Every human being on this planet has the ability to feel, the ability to somehow respond to the surrounding world with feelings and emotions inside of them. Emotionality is part of everyone and emotions arise every now and then. The way people express them are different, there are some who barely show it, some who are „too emotional” and those who express it in a way that is more acceptable and considered normal by the society. By normal, I exclude those who show their emotions in a very sincere but maybe a bit too appalling way (having fears that trigger a behaviour considered weird by others, such as being overly protective, showing their love in a very radical way etc.). Those who hardly show their emotions, if at all, are often considered as cold and heartless persons. There have been many researches carried out with the aim to find out the essence of emotions and the truth behind it, but as many other subjects of research, which cannot be precisely measured and theories cannot be based on mathematical calculations, so does emotion and emotionality leave a lot of quesitions pending, which can get very controversial responses from different psychologists. That is why I shall raise some of these questions here and try to find an answer with the help of literature and researches that have been sucsessfully carried out already.
