I think that the more developed countries tend to have less % employed in agriculture. The more developed countries tend to be wealthier because of the fact that they are in quartiary and tertiary industries. If people work in the lower tier jobs then that probably means that high-end jobs aren’t available for a lot of people otherwise they would have taken them. Countries with more % in agriculture tend to be less developed. The graph shows that the countries with higher average pay tend to have less people employed in agriculture. We know that higher average pay shows wealth so we have established a link between wealth and percentage employed in agriculture; the higher the % employed in agriculture the less wealthy a county tends to be.
However there are countries like the Azerbaijan that has a decent % employed in agriculture but still have good average pay. This means that these countries are developed in some areas but not in others with not a lot of equality because the wealth isn’t spread evenly throughout the country. On the other hand countries like the Uzbekistan don’t have the best climates for agriculture because of many things affecting their climate like temperature, so have low average pay as well as low agricultural % because they aren’t very developed.
There is a relationship between average pay and people employed in agriculture with some countries more noticeable than others. If you have a country with a high amount of people working in agriculture then you will (on average) have a lower average pay because of how many people aren’t able to work in tertiary and quartiary tier jobs.
