I. Attention Getter Does anyone knows what FFA is? FFA is the largest student-led leadership program it helps students prepare for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. Imagine standing in front of a huge crowd of 1500 hundred or more most pf them are rednecks and trouble makers. You have to have a speech ready and impress them. You already don’t like to talk in front of people now you’re front of hundreds of them. As you get up the stage you’re asking yourself in your head why am I doing this…
II. Ethos: Joining FFA was a huge turning point in my life during High School.
III. Thesis: After judging FFA as lame or boring but com to find out it’s much more than that.
IV. Preview: After being in FFA in two years it has taught me how to be more involved in things I do by not being shy, don’t be to judgmental about things you don’t know about, and last of all its taught me how to be a better person mentally and physically.

Body: FFA has changed my life. Pretty simply said, but there is so much that it has done for me. I used to not want to talk in front of any size crowd and I wouldn't even talk to people I didn't know. I was the guy that went to a leadership conference but didn't really make any friends. All this changed in an instance when I became so involved in FFA. It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but to those guys it did. I only saw the surface of FFA as a lot of rednecks that showed animals and get in trouble, but little do I know about how it has made such an influence in my life. Since joining, I have traveled and met so many people who had high respect for us. I have been given the opportunity to numerous amounts of scholarships and potential career plans. No I didn’t take them FFA but wasn’t my field. It did boost my public speaking and confidence. Till this day I still hate public speaking. It has taught me to move away...
