-Think of a time you faced an important opportunity or challenge with a fixed mindset. What were your thoughts and worries about your abilities, other people’s judgments, and the possibility of failure? Describe them vividly.

Hello, My name is Jennifer. I have had several important opportunities in my life. When I was eighteen years old I started my very first job working in home health. I remember my interview like it was yesterday. I received an invite to work for the first company I worked home health for from a job fair interviewer coming to the technical learning center that I was studying at for my GED. The company offered several people a job in home health. They took our applications and then interviewed us one on one. When it came my time to be interviewed, I can remember being so nervous because If I got hired this would be my very first job that was one of the most important jobs I had ever had at that point in my life. I remember walking into my interview and setting down with the job fair rep and answering all the questions she was asking me about home health and what Home health meant to me. I went into my interview with a fixed mindset. I set in my interview and took notes about the job I was being offered and then after I was hired and the interview was over, I then began to think to myself "Wow" I must really be smart for such a good company come in and offer me a job in such and important line of work. Once I went through a week of CPR and First Aid classes, home health care training and classes in medical treatments of different disorders, I was then ready yo step out into the field and show of the skills I had learned. I didn't think I would be able to handle alot of certain tasks that come with being a home health provider, for instance personal care of the clients like changing and bathing.
