In my paper I am going to discuss why juveniles commit serious crimes. In the book the outsiders the kids commit a lot of juvenile crimes. In My paper I am going to compare the reasons I find with the causes or reasons I can infer from the book.
Some reasons people commit crimes is because they want to know what it feels like to commit one. Another reason is because they are under the influence of elders. One more reason is to get in a gang like this kid Val hung killed a cop to prove he was good enough to be in a gang. And the last reason is the way they were raised a family where the parents don’t care who the kid hangs out with or what he does is a example. juveniles crime is usually committed by males however female crime rates are going up rapidly. Kids like 8 years old are starting to commit bad crimes and because of this are generation of people are going to be bad. There was a 8 year old kid who killed his dad with hid rifle because his dad grounded him the kid got the gun for his 8th birthday which is a bad sign of parenting.
gangs are a big reasons why kids commit juveniles crimes. Like sometimes to get in a gang you have to get beat and everything else it is kind of like trying to get into a ferity at a collage. You have to do so many things to get into the gang or ferity. Usually you can tell if they have committed a crime by a symbol like red is bloods and blue is crypts and if a white person has a spider web on his body usually his elbow it means he has killed a black person and is proud. Which is a juvenile crime. There crime rates have gone up dramatically.
