Jurassic Park the movie and the book were pretty much the same. They also had a lot of the same themes. And one of those themes was the dangers of not knowing about technology. Jurassic park displayed incredible amount of technology and technical genius. They even displayed ingenuity when they weren’t using the tools. The fact that they figured out how to use the bugs to extract dinosaur DNA was in fact very genius even though it would never work. The whole computer system was very complicated and well designed. The thing that made it so dangerous was there were so many bugs and they only had one person who fully understood the system which is a potential hazard. The person they hired for the job abused the technology which leads to the whole situation. Furthermore, they did not count on the greatest piece of technology of all, the mind. The dinosaurs evolved and became smarter in the book especially the Velociraptor. These animals were analyzing their surroundings and figuring out ways to better suit themselves for survival. This lack of knowledge by the staff and visitors is what resulted in this predicament. The people in the movie got the better end of the deal than the people in the book. Many of them got to survive but that will not often happen with these types of actions, especially if you have the lack of knowledge going in that the staff and the experts had. The situation could go haywire.
During this whole project the team of Jurassic park had a very complex computer system. They could have the system running at maximum efficiency and only have three people running the whole lab. Now the part that makes this dangerous is that there was only one person who knew how to fully operate the system.
