The quotation “Evil triumphs but never conquers” holds true to many predicaments that have happened in our world today. In our world during the rough times it seems as though evil has won, but after some time you come to realize that good wins the war over good verses evil. In our everyday lives, an immense amount of evil occurs in our towns, on our streets. Unfortunately some of the evil affects the lives of people who don’t deserve to suffer from the effects of this evil. Luckily we have a legal system who serves justice for the victims of evil.
This quotation is portrayed in drunk driving. Millions of lives are taken as a result of drunk drivers and their foolishness to get behind a wheel and drive home. The victim’s are people who are living their ordinary lives above the influence. They may be driving home, or even walking home to go see their families, and they may even have their children with them when they’re killed by a drunk driver. The evil in this situation is that an innocent’s person’s life is taken because somebody thought they were able to drive home. When a life is taken, the victim’s family is the ones that suffer the most. They have to bury a loved one sooner than they thought they would have to. Then our legal system comes into this mess. Our legal system is the good in this situation. Our legal system serves justice for the victim’s family, who has to live without their loved one after this tragedy. After the verdict comes in, the defendant is given their sentence. The sentence that the defendant receives, to some people, is viewed as good conquering evil.
When it comes to underage drinking many teenagers think “I’ll never get caught.”, but they are very mistaken. They don’t take into consideration the many things that can happen when drinking alcohol. They think that they can have all the fun and not get caught. The ignorance of these teenagers is considered the evil in this...
