Dear Self,
The reason why I’m in college is

My last reason, but not my least important reason is, that I decided to go to college, because when I was in high school, I moved in the middle of my junior, away from people that I had gone to school with most of my life, and had grown up with, so when we came to Florida it was all new for me, and it made me very anti-social. I did not do the whole, high school experience at all. So a big reason why I wanted to go to college was so I can experience that. It was a huge dream of mine, to have friends, to be social, to really be a teenager, or a young adult. I am hoping by being in College, I will be able to experience that.

So overall, college is going to be a great thing for me, not just because it says “Oh look at me, I went to college” but because I am doing something to make myself become a better person. So far, I love college, it has been a great thing for me, and I know in the end, it will really pay off, and turn me into someone that I want to be.

I want to ask you, why are you in college? Now that you are here, what must you do in order to graduate from Bethune Cookman University? What goals have you set for yourself ie; GPA, joining clubs/organizations and how will you pass your most challenging classes.
