I never knew this day would come so quickly. Since kindergarten, the infamous question has been inscribed in our head. "What would you like to be when you grow up?" After so many years of school, this question is still up in the air. I figured that when the time came to single out a college, it would be tremendously straightforward because I would know which one to choose and what major. I am a remarkably decisive person, however, when it comes to picking a career, I am awfully uncertain what to do. Trying to pick between two marvelously rewarding professions which are physical therapy and pharmacy is easier said than done. I realize that both demand the utmost diligence and determination as I am ready to work hard. It was simple to narrow my career choices to these two options because of personal experiences and experiences of others.
It was a very gloomy day and I had received a phone call that changed my life forever. I grabbed my purse, coat, and car keys and ran towards the front door. As I drove fast, temporarily forgetting about minor traffic regulations, I began to ponder what had gone terribly wrong that my mom was crying on the phone. Breathing heavily, I scampered into the hospital, up to the fourth floor where my mom and dad instructed me to meet them. There I saw my dad filling out forms for the doctor, my mom sitting on the bench with moist eyes, and my uncle and aunt looking through the glass window gazing at my cousin on the bed. She was stretched out uncomfortably getting her leg checked from the doctors. I never realized how scared a person could look until I gazed into the eyes of my cousin. When I asked my mom what had happened, she told me that my cousin got into a car accident and fractured many bones in her leg along with multiple muscle tears. This was like a deep blow to the head. My aunt and uncle were so close knit with my family that it seemed like this happened to my very own sister. As I watched the doctor examine her, every time...
