KITTY
I was having lunch with dad. There was a women sitting at the table with her disgusting fate smile. “Kitty, do you like this dish? I make this all for you. Doctor said that it’s best for your disease.” She said. I felt sick when I heard her words. What a false woman!
A few mouths ago dad called me into his study and said that I will have a new mom who will take good care of me and I need to call her mom. I said nothing but just looked at my “dear” father with my cold eyes and then turned back to my room. I heard my dad uttered a sigh which only make me feel sick. He is always looking at me with his melancholic eyes which also make me sick. I need to talk with Ling. She was at my room, lying on my bed, listening to music and reading a comic book. I love her so much. Ling looked up and smiled at me like a pure angle. ”What’s wrong, Kitty?” She asked. I hugged her tightly and told her what dad told me. Ling suddenly closed her comic book and looked at me with tears flew down. “New mom? But I only want my own mom. I don’t want a new mom. Kitty, When does our mom come back home? I miss her.” Ling said a lot with tears. I couldn’t say anything but hugged her tightly. Finally, that day came. The door opened slightly. A woman with heavy makeup held my dad’s hand and came into my warm home, oh no, once a warm home because there lived my dear mom but now a cold home. “Come and call mom, she is your new mom” dad said. Ling and me looked at them with cold eyes and said nothing. Then I saw dad smiled at that woman with embarrassment. That woman just smiled back at my dad, but I exactly saw that woman looked at Ling and me furiously when our dad had his back toward her. I can’t help shivering when I looked at her nutty smile. I scratched Ling’s hand. I could not show my fear because my little weak twin sister must feel scare more than me. I am her older sister. I need to protect her. So I smiled at Ling and said that we would be ok.
I knew that dad trust that woman....
