Ksu Student Org.

After exploring many options related to the organizations at KSU I found two of these to be extremely interesting. The student media organization caught my eye because it monitors the production of The Sentinel, Share, Talon Monthly, The New Media Group and, Owl Radio. The Student Government Association also intrigued me with their ability to voice student complaints and opinions to the faculty and staff.
The Student Media Organization (SMO) is very interesting to me because in high school I was always involved in the news paper and even was able to do the morning announcements for a semester in my junior year. I already have some affiliation with this club as a co-host on Owl Radio but I was unaware that the student media covered so many publications. They oversee The Sentinel, which is Kennesaw’s school paper. SMO also monitors production of Share and Talon Monthly the schools two magazines focusing on literature and art, and monthly student features respectively. SMO covers one more section of student media which is The New Media Group which teaches students about many aspects of media one of those being webpage design. I foresee myself becoming much more involved in student media before the end of the year.
The Student Government Association (SGA) is the organization that voices student needs to the members of faculty and staff that have the ability to meet those needs. SGA interests me because I feel that when students think something is unfair in their school they need to have confidence that there is someone to go to that will hear those complaints and be able to help change the situation.
When students become involved in clubs they create a bond with others that motivates them to do well in school and in life. When I become involved in a club I feel like not only can I contribute to them but that I have also found a network of support when things may be h
