Actress-recording star Gretchen "La Greta" Barretto on Tuesday came to the defense of sister Marjorie Barretto who is rumored to be pregnant allegedly by Caloocan City Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri.

In an interview during the contract signing for her newest album titled "Complicated," Gretchen stressed that her sister, a councilor of Caloocan, is not expecting a baby.

Amid criticisms questioning her talent as a singer, Gretchen said she feels that she is now a “legitimate singer,” especially after working with Loiue Ocampo.
